Sujet de stage

Team description

The internship will be performed in the Project team within the Finance Division. The key missions of the team are:

Ensure consistency of information system for the Finance division in Sophia Antipolis
Provide functional support to the division to achieve improvement of information system (coordination of major evolutions : correction or improvement) in coordination with group requirements

The team works with finance end users to gather requirements and ensure coordination with support of internal information systems within the company.

Amadeus financial information is reported under IFRS, in compliance with the internal group policy. Reporting is monthly based with tight deadlines. Amadeus sas finance division is also in charge to provide a worldwide consolidated reporting of the development entities.

The main support for information system is SAP (version 4.7 module FI-CO-MM)

Amadeus sas faced a significant activity increase since several years. As a consequence, the administrative processes require being deeply adapted to support these changes. The Finance Division dedicated a team to support those evolutions.

Subject

Mission assigned to the trainee is to assist the Project leader in the following activities of project management. Moreover, a specific improvement area will be dedicated to the trainee.

Main Activities of project management

Prepare and attend workshops with key users to identify improvements/savings
Diagnosis of strength / weakness / opportunities/ risks associated to the existing procedures.
New procedures / improvements recommendations and expected gains.
Measurement of the implementation progress
Define key performance indicators to check that achievements are in line with expected gains
Prepare the weekly project status for the Project Management Committee.

Technologies, Logiciels, Outils utilisés

Required skills

Foreign languages : English as working language.
Technical / Business skills:

- University degree as Engineer or business school with degree in Finance. - Functional knowledge in Finance is required

- Strong interest in information systems and IT tools (For French students/trainee: the MIAGE is the ad hoc cursus or business school with qualification in information system )
